SECO provided remodeling and upgrades to the Milo Barber Transportation Center in Rapid City which is the hub of RapidRide. RapidRide is Rapid City’s fixed route bus transportation system and is important for Rapid City’s population to thrive during daily activities. This project consisted of a roof replacement, new HVAC system, new siding, offices, driver break room, closed circuit surveillance system, transit storage, ADA compliant restrooms, energy efficient lighting, and a covered raised platform for transit service staging and transfers for passengers. SECO also performed an upgrade of landscaping, perimeter fencing and improved parking for workers and community members.
