The Rapid City Laundry remodel project provided the Owner with an up-to-date, state of the art administrative and sales space in a building that once housed an industrial laundry facility. The construction project also was qualified by the National Historic Preservation office of the Department of Interior for federal tax credits along with a property tax moratorium at the local level that facilitated financing of the project. This Design-Build project included several structural improvements and converted a dilapidated facility to an office and administrative space. The building is listed as a historically contributing structure, and because of this the design and construction had to comply with and be reviewed by local, state and federal historic preservation offices.
