One of Deadwood’s newest restaurants is located in one of its oldest buildings. This project provided the Owner with a fine dining restaurant that has a casual but elegant ambiance. The restaurant allows the Historic Franklin Hotel to be a full-service Deadwood property, meeting all the needs of their guests on-site. The Master Craftsmanship award winning 5,300 square foot remodel of the basement at the Historic Franklin Hotel provided a new commercial kitchen, servery, and fine dining restaurant. The construction project included a complete removal and replacement of the concrete floor in the basement kitchen area; new egress stairway; new electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; stone masonry wall, columns, and fireplace hearth/mantel; new historically correct doors and windows; extensive and detailed interior casework and trim, and new ceilings.
